DEBATE 1: 15.00-17.00 - Topic "Harmonization of existing legislation with technological evolution" - In this panel we set out to present and debate legislative changes such as the E-Privacy Directive, the NIS Directive, the GDPR in the context of the accelerated development of technologies such as AI, facial recognition, micro-targeting.
DEBATE 2: 17.00-19.00 - Topic "What impact did the GDPR have in Romania in the last 4 years?" In this panel we set out to analyze the impact of GDPR in Romania in the last 4 years, emphasizing the activity of the Romanian DPA, the efficiency of education campaigns, the development of the role of the DPO, the level of compliance of private and public controllers and awareness of the importance of personal data, focusing on the COVID19 pandemic period.
