Privacy, Security and the Regulatory Challenges in Harnessing AI, IoT, Blockchain and Other Emerging Technologies

With the global adoption of data protection regulations, many innovative technologies including Internet of Things, artificial intelligence and blockchain face hurdles in complying with data protection laws while allowing for the continued evolution of the technology. The panel will discuss the ways for these technologies to be developed to account for core privacy principles and protection of individual rights and the practical implications of various data protection laws as applied to these technologies.
