Topic:

Privacy in AI

Data privacy is and will continue to be a top-of-mind issue in 2022 and beyond. As is the case in many other areas of the law, artificial intelligence (AI) presents unique compliance challenges. Certain data sets underlying AI models, as well as AI models and their outputs, will be regulated under forthcoming privacy laws in the United States and are subject to increasing scrutiny from state and federal legislators and agencies, including the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). Join this meeting to hear speakers present on key developments and trends in this developing area of the law, including an overview of restrictions on and obligations with respect to profiling, automated decision-making, and other AI processes. Additionally covered will be forthcoming privacy laws in California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut and Utah; and hear how a global company is approaching compliance in this critical and emerging space.
