Intersection between the GDPR and Data Governance Act (DGA), Digital Services Act (DSA), Digital Markets Act (DMA), AI Act and Data Act
This KnowledgeNet is organised together with the Asociația Specialiștilor în Confidențialitate și Protecția Datelor (ASCPD).
The event will focus on the intersection of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) with the various digital laws and regulations that have been introduced in the past two years in Europe. The event will cover the ways in which the GDPR, which started to be applicable nearly six years ago, intersects with newer laws such as the Digital Services Act, the Digital Markets Act, and the Digital Governance Act, as well as the proposals for the AI Act and Data Act currently being under legislative negotiations. The event will discuss how these new laws will interact with and impact the GDPR and how their consistent enforcement is crucial for the growth and success of the digital economy in Europe.
