The challenge now facing companies doing business with European citizens is to choose the data transfer mechanism that will best protect their customers privacy, and build towards compliance with the GDPR, soon to come into force. Companies that certifi by September 30 of this year will receive a nine-month grace period for compliance with their third party contracts, making a pretty good case for early adoption.
